ETERNAL WISDOM
Deus nunca permitirá aqueles que confiam nele de todo o coração, passar por uma situação de adversidade tal, que não tenha a capacidade de superá-la. (1 Corintios 10:13) | Let no temptation take hold on you, but such as is human. And God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that which you are able: but will make also with temptation issue, that you may be able to bear it. (1 Corinthians 10:13)
St. Padre Pio On Suffering: "God will never permit anything to happen to us that is not for our greater good."
| São Padre Pio: Sobre o sofrimento: "Deus nunca permitirá que nos aconteça nada que não seja para o nosso bem maior".
St. Padre Pio On Divine Providence: "God will always give us more than we deserve."
| São Padre Pio: Sobre a Providência Divina: «Deus dar-nos-á sempre mais do que merecemos».
St. Padre Pio On Anxiety: "Pray, hope, don't worry. Worry is useless. God is merciful and will hear your prayers."
| São Padre Pio
“Reze, espere e não se preocupe. A preocupação é inútil. Deus é misericordioso e ouvirá sua oração…
São Padre Pio sobre a oração: A oração é a melhor arma que temos, é a chave do coração de Deus. Você deve falar com Jesus, não somente com seus lábios, mas também com o coração. Na verdade, em umas ocasiões, deve falar somente com o coração”. | St. Padre Pio on Prayer: Prayer is the best weapon we have, it is the key to God's heart. You must speak to Jesus, not only with your lips, but also with your heart. In fact, sometimes you should speak only from the heart."

WE INVITE YOU to PLAY THIS VIDEO IN YOUR CLASSES THIS WEEK with the FOLLOWING transformative notes of encouragement. CONVIDAMOS você a REPRODUZIR ESTE VÍDEO EM SUAS AULAS ESTA SEMANA com as SEGUINTES notas transformadoras de incentivo
HOMEROOM / ENGLISH CLASS / CATECHESIS CLASS ACTIVITIES BY THE ROSARY HOUR PODCAST TEAM | HOMEROOM / AULA DE INGLÊS / ATIVIDADES DA AULA DE CATEQUESE PELA EQUIPA DO PODCAST DA HORA DO ROSÁRIO
1. Have a discussion with children beginning with the essential question “What difference can I make by praying the Holy Rosary?”
Reflect together with the goal of helping each child realize how to imagine a better world with the intercession of the Blessed Mother, Queen of Peace, and Mother of the Church.
2. Teachers can support children in this activity by setting aside time in the school day to pray to the Guardian Angel, the Angelus, and the Holy Rosary at a set time that is determined by the Principal / Vice Principal of the School for the month of October, and on First Fridays and First Saturdays.
3. Pastors / teachers / catechists might hold a school mass | schoolwide Rosary where all the children can pray the Rosary for peace together, on rotation, etc.
4. Ask children to create signs / posters that might inspire friends / family to join in prayer. During computer / tech class, have them share out this poster to family / friends, and to talk about why we pray, hope and place our trust in God.
5. Discuss how the Queen of Peace strives to settle our anxieties. If you need professional development notes in this area, why not and review this sermon with Podcast Spiritual Advisor, Fr. Peter Turrone who explains in this very accessible sermon why petition and prayer are so important to managing feelings of anxiety. [Cued to 23:54]. Fr. Peter notes that for the Month of October, and for the entire year in fact, when we pray the Rosary we ask for the Holy Spirit to produce in our hearts the fruit of Peace. Fr. Peter touches on the importance of hope, as well as challenging us to investigate what we are doing in the vineyard of the Lord as explored in the Oct 8th readings for the 27th Sunday of Ordinary time.
6. Need a reason to make this initiative curriculum related? Link the prayer of the Rosary to your English or Media Studies Unit. Any class in the world can lead multiple classes to discuss and explore how-to-promote the Rosary. With the end goal of developing character-based learning skills like “initiative” and “creativity”, educators can challenge children and fellow staff members to re-discover ways of telling others about the invitation to pray the Rosary Every Day, and on Oct. 18, a worldwide event.
7. Share your Rosary Stories: last post, we featured an informal warm-up chat w/ Teresa Tomeo & Dr. Lombardi who told us about their Rosaries from childhood, etc. As a class project, build a unit on interview skills — have children create a podcast interview — ask family members to tell stories, modelling the inquiry of Children’s Rosary ® Q and A on the Rosary Hour Podcast. Invite children to re-discover the rich stories behind the Rosaries that people pray, or behind those rosaries hanging from car mirrors (hopefully taken down to be prayed before the mass on Sunday). Take a trip to the Chapel and start your own Rosary story now! Take out that Rosary and pray, pray, pray and invite children to be part of that prayer.
8. Teachers / parents — do your students know what a Rosary is? Take out your Rosary and have a show-and-tell in the month of October. Encourage grandparents / parents to come in as guest speakers to share their Rosary stories in Homeroom. Tell children to bring a Rosary to class and write about Rosary stories and the story of your Rosary and why it matters. Investigate the Mysteries of the Rosary over twenty weeks — maybe every Friday… have students create a two to five minute powerpoint presentation on one Mystery for the pastor or pastoral council member. Send us your presentations (in any language) to post on our Digital Toolkit Folder! We’d love to see what your students come up with. Write to tvdasenrahousepress AT gmail DOT com.
9. Talk to children about why we pray together with our Parish / community, etc. and let’s surround the world with protection of the Blessed Mother and unite in prayer.
WHY THIS INITIATIVE? 1 Million Children Praying the Rosary?
“Praying the rosary is a means given to us by God, and it is necessary because it makes a decisive difference (…) Firstly, because the Mother of God asks us to do so in the apparitions approved by the Church! Secondly, because it is the experience of the Church and of many of her saints, confirmed by the Magisterium, and corresponds to the sensitivity of our Christian faith” explains Cardinal Mauro Piacenza, president of ACN.
