From Amelia & Izzy:
To those who are called, to those who are dear to God the Father and kept safe for Jesus Christ, wishing you all mercy and peace and love.3
Yesterday, we were reminded that the Scriptures narrate facts regarding angels that accompany people or an entire people to protect them and communicate God's message to them.
Guardian Angels are still present today, continuing this great mission, which is to help us to worship and praise God in an eternal act of adoration.4

ANGELS IN SCRIPTURE |
EZEKIEL 1:
1 Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, on the fifth day of the month, when I was in the midst of the captives by the river Chobar, the heavens were opened, and I saw the visions of God.
2 On the fifth day of the month, the same was the fifth year of the captivity of king Joachin,
3 The word of the Lord came to Ezechiel the priest the son of Buzi in the land of the Chaldeans, by the river Chobar: and the hand of the Lord was there upon him.
4 And I saw, and behold a whirlwind came out of the north: and a great cloud, and a fire infolding it, and brightness was about it: and out of the midst thereof, that is, out of the midst of the fire, as it were the resemblance of amber:
5 And in the midst thereof the likeness of four living creatures: and this was their appearance: there was the likeness of a man in them.
6 Every one had four faces, and every one four wings.
7 Their feet were straight feet, and the sole of their foot was like the sole of a calf's foot, and they sparkled like the appearance of glowing brass.
8 And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides: and they had faces, and wings on the four sides,
9 And the wings of one were joined to the wings of another. They turned not when they went: but every one went straight forward.
10 And as for the likeness of their faces: there was the face of a man, and the face of a lion on the right side of all the four: and the face of an ox, on the left side of all the four: and the face of an eagle over all the four.
11 And their faces, and their wings were stretched upward: two wings of every one were joined, and two covered their bodies:
12 And every one of them went straight forward: whither the impulse of the spirit was to go, thither they went: and they turned not when they went.
13 And as for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like that of burning coals of fire, and like the appearance of lamps. This was the vision running to and fro in the midst of the living creatures, a bright fire, and lightning going forth from the fire.
14 And the living creatures ran and returned like flashes of lightning.
15 Now as I beheld the living creatures, there appeared upon the earth by the living creatures one wheel with four faces.
16 And the appearance of the wheels, and the work of them was like the appearance of the sea: and the four had all one likeness: and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel in the midst of a wheel.
17 When they went, they went by their four parts: and they turned not when they went.
18 The wheels had also a size, and a height, and a dreadful appearance: and the whole body was full of eyes round about all the four.
19 And when the living creatures went, the wheels also went together by them: and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels also were lifted up with them.
20 Whithersoever the spirit went, thither as the spirit went the wheels also were lifted up withal, and followed it: for the spirit of life was in the wheels.
21 When those went these went, and when those stood these stood, and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels also were lifted up together, and followed them: for the spirit of life was in the wheels.
22 And over the heads of the living creatures was the likeness of the firmament, as the appearance of crystal terrible to behold, and stretched out over their heads above.
23 And under the firmament were their wings straight, the one toward the other, every one with two wings covered his body, and the other was covered in like manner.
24 And I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of many waters, as it were the voice of the most high God: when they walked, it was like the voice of a multitude, like the noise of an army, and when they stood, their wings were let down.
25 For when a voice came from above the firmament, that was over their heads, they stood, and let down their wings.
26 And above the firmament that was over their heads, was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of the sapphire stone, and upon the likeness of the throne, was a likeness as of the appearance of a man above upon it.
27 And I saw as it were the resemblance of amber as the appearance of fire within it round about: from his loins and upward, and from his loins downward, I saw as it were the resemblance of fire shining round about.
28 As the appearance of the rainbow when it is in a cloud on a rainy day: this was the appearance of the brightness round about.

Did you know that Tuesdays are traditionally dedicated to prayer to the Angels? Download this wonderful prayerbook from the Latin Mass Victoria site to read the full history cited here:
“October is the only month of the year which is graced by two dedications. It is devoted both to Our Lady of the Holy Rosary and to the holy angels. As our Lady takes precedence over the angels as their Queen, one system for conferring appropriate honour to both would be to concentrate devotion on the Rosary in first, third and fifth weeks (and in any additional part of a closing sixth week). This way, the month is opened and closed and marked at centre by devotion to the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Devotion can then be lavished on the holy angels in the second and fourth weeks of the month. However, a devotional octave of the angels should also be observed, and this will mean honouring both our Lady, the Queen of Angels, and the angelic hosts in the first days of October. Tuesday is the special weekday of the holy angels. Therefore, devotion should be concentrated on the angels on all Tuesdays in October (and generally throughout the year), while devotion should be focused on the Holy Rosary devotions on all Saturdays of the month, as Saturday is our Lady’s weekday. Michaelmas (always pronounced as ‘mikelmiss’), the Feast of St. Michael and All Angels, is celebrated on 29th September, just before the month of October begins. It prepares us for an angelic month. The Feast of the Guardian Angels comes on 2 nd October; that of St. Raphael, the healing angel, on 24th October. St. Gabriel is our Lady’s angel because he is associated especially with the Annunciation. For this reason, his feastday is the eve of the Annunciation: it is observed on 24th March. St. Raphael is often regarded as mankind’s angel because he is the healer of Tobias, and he saved Sara from the devil. St. Michael is God’s angel; St. Gabriel, our Lady’s; St. Raphael, ours; and each of us has an angel-guardian. Why are Tuesdays dedicated to the holy angels in Catholic devotion? This has to do with the development of votive Masses in the Middle Ages. Sunday was dedicated to the Blessed Trinity; Monday, to the Holy Ghost. Next in rank to One Person of God is our Lady, but she already had her established weekday on Saturday (and for good symbolic reason). Next in rank to our Lady are the angels; therefore, they were assigned Tuesday, the next day in the week, for votive Masses. Christ tells us that the saints will rank above the angels but this will happen only after the General Resurrection. Wednesday became the saints’ weekday, therefore. (Today, it mainly honours St. Joseph but also SS. Peter and Paul and the other apostles.) The dedications for Thursday and Friday are the Blessed Sacrament and the Holy Cross (and Sacred Passion) respectively. The reason for these last dedications is obvious. For the angels, there are popular prayers (such as the prayer to one's angel-guardian and the prayer to St. Michael that is recited after Low Masses); an approved angelic chaplet and a Chaplet of St. Raphael; a little office; and eight approved litanies—one for each known archangel, a second one for St. Michael, three for the angel-guardians, and one for the angels generally. The last of these is similar in form to the Litany of the Saints but none of the angelic litanies are approved for public use. They may be prayed privately or communally in church but may not be used in processions or in connexion with the Sacred Liturgy unless the local or proper bishop decides to make an exception by writ. There are also many approved prayers to the angels, including some which have appeared in the Raccolta over time. This booklet provides the text for the approved Little Office of the Holy Angels. This is the shortest and simplest of all the offices, and it omits Lauds (as some short offices do). With one very small exception, each hora varies only at its hymn: all the other prayers are the same from one hour to the next. The exception is that an extra versicle and response are added for Compline to follow standard procedure for that hour in other offices. This booklet includes the well-known Prayer to St. Michael and the short and poetical Prayer to our AngelGuardian. Also included here are the litanies. For the angelic Chaplet, the prayers are provided. If one not own a Chaplet of the Angels, it can be prayed by tying three knots on a string and just following the invocations.

DAY 1: (TEXT for those wishing to use this novena for the Glory of God. Feel free to transform and use in the School of Our Lady anywhere in the world)
His mother ANTONIA tells us: "Carlo was a very happy child from the beginning. His friendliness was contagious and already as a baby he drew attention for always being in a good mood.”
Blessed Carlo said that joy was looking at God. Today we pray for those with of sadness and discouragement, and perhaps find no reason to smile; we ask the Blessed Mother to assist them so that they might find their strength and their peace in God. Through the merits and intercession of Bl. Carlo Acutis, we hear our prayers, O Lord; we ask through this novena with faith in God’s Divine presence in our lives for all the graces we need. Amen.
