The 4th Joyful Mystery & Presentation of our Lord in the Temple
“And after the days of her purification, according to the law of Moses, were accomplished, they carried him to Jerusalem, to present him to the Lord: As it is written in the law of the Lord: "Every male opening the womb shall be called holy to the Lord". (Luke 2:22-23)
THE ROSARY HOUR PODCAST NEWSLETTER | EVENING EDITION
Dear Readers of the Rosary Hour Podcast:
We invite you to pray the 4th Joyful Mystery by joining us daily at theholyrosary.substack.com where we continue the daily Consecration Journey to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through the hands of His Blessed Mother!
Nossa Senhora dos Navegantes
This day, Feb. 2nd, is an important feast in Brazil, and is known throughout Portugal: Nossa Senhora dos Navegantes. In many ways, this dual focus guides us as we celebrate in candlelight procession the importance of St. Joseph and Our Lady’s visit to the temple to present Jesus. Officially the final day of Christmas (40 days after Christmas Day and the last day to pray before a nativity scene for a plenary indulgence), we continue with our Consecration Journey which we began last November.
“Founded by Pope St. John Paul II in 1997, today is the World Day of Prayer for Consecrated Life. He attached it to "Candlemas Day" because the consecrated men and women are to be the light in the world, imitating Jesus, the Light of the World. The World Day of Prayer is moved to the following Sunday to be celebrated in the parishes. See USCCB for more resources. “
A NEW DECADE ROSARY
In today’s post, Fr. Elias Mary Mills leads a decade of the Rosary (sans subtitles). The Fátima prayers for the entire Digital Toolkit were curated by Pe Nuno and formatted for English; this broadcast is followed by an extra commentary by our special guest who came to the Rosary Hour Podcast today to speak with Amelia and Asher and respond to their questions. More on our YouTube Channel in the next two weeks as we reformat the last reveal only seen for 24 hours by our subscribers!
