HOW-TO-PRAY the CHAPLET’S “OPENING PRAYERS”:
There are some suggested optional “Opening Prayers” published by the National Shrine of the Divine Mercy that anyone can learn by heart right now. Try to pray with the outline below, asking St. Faustina’s intercession that God will grant you the special grace of praying at 15h00 (3 o’clock) every day:
AT 3:00
1. Make the Sign of the Cross:
“In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.”
2. Recite:
”You expired, Jesus, but the source of life gushed forth for souls, and the ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world. O Fount of Life, unfathomable Divine Mercy, envelop the whole world and empty Yourself out upon us.”

THEN…
3. Repeat three times:
“O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fount of mercy for us, I trust in You!”

HOW-TO-PRAY THE CHAPLET TO THE DIVINE MERCY
Here are some sharing ideas derived from FR. ANTHONY’S VIDEO… (i.e. as way of extending the knowledge of this prayer to others and celebrating today’s October 5th Feast for ST. FAUSTINA):
a) SHARE THE WORDS OF THE CHAPLET TO DIVINE MERCY PRAYER with others, with those who have lost loved ones, with your children and Godchildren:
b) SHARE AN ONLINE VIDEO to help others master the prayer of the chaplet:
i.e. Tune-in to the DAILY LIVESTREAM at THE NATIONAL SHRINE OF THE DIVINE MERCY:
c) JOIN A LIVE RADIO CHAPLET TO THE DIVINE MERCY
i.e., as led by Amelia (10-years-old) and Zosia (10-years-old) on RADIO MARIA USA every 2nd Saturday at 3 p.m. CT / 4 p.m. EST.
Try sharing the following RADIO MARIA USA link to invite others, especially children, to unite in prayer with Rosary leaders their age and their families:
Next broadcast: October 12, 2024 on the Feast of Bl. Carlo Acutis (Italy) and the vigil of Bl. Alexandrina of Balasar, in PdV, Portugal as well as the memory of the 6th Apparition of Our Lady of Fátima (the Miracle of the Sun) on Oct. 13, 1917.
d) CREATE A SCRIPT:
Create a script of your own for the Chaplet based on the one created by Dr. Bailey for Dr. Kaufman’s 2nd Saturday Radio Maria USA show below:
